Poleg Creek Nature Reserve Tel Poleg is a 125-acre nature reserve located across from the Wingate Institute. Here you'll find breathtaking plant life including purple irises and Sharon lilies and tulips, as well as various types of regional trees. Not far from the reserve is Yakum Park, with its lake and geese, crafts corners and adventure sports. The park is open to the public on Saturdays. Entrance to the park and the nature reserve is from the coastal road through a parking lot at the main entrance to Kibbutz Yakum

כשנוסעים בכביש החוף, בין קיבוץ שפיים לנתניה, נשקף לעינינו נוף שכולל בעיקר מרכזי קניות ותחנות דלק. אך אם מרחיקים מעט מהכביש, אל שמורת שער פולג, מגלים עולם שונה ומיוחד: מצוקי כורכר תלולים, תצפיות נפלאות על שטחים נרחבים, פריחה עשירה ונחל יפה. מסלול הטיול בשמורת שער פולג, מוביל אותנו לתצפית יפה מגבעת השלום, להליכה מהנה על רכס כורכר צר ותלול, ולחציית שער פולג, פירצה מלאכותית שנחצבה לפני כ-4,000 שנה. לסיום נוכל לעצור למנוחה בחורשת איקליפטוסים קטנה, או על שפת אגם קטן ומפתיע. המסלול מסדרת ספרי הטיולים "אל ארץ אהבתי
