Portillo’s is extremely popular in the Chicagoland area. There is often a long line of cars around the building in their drive through. If it’s your first time we recommend going inside. It’s neon lights and retro decor give it a fun atmosphere. The most popular things to get here are the Italian beefs, hot dogs, and their famous cake shake (a slice of cake in your shake!). If none of that sounds great to you they have a pretty big menu with a lot of other great options. Within biking distance from the Burrow.

If your new to Chicago or just visiting, this is a staple. It’s a “must have” as much as Chicago deep dish pizza. Everything is good. But the chocolate cake shack, Beef and Chicago style hot dog are their winners!
