Consisting of 2 sites (Cimiez and Terra Amata) the museum offers a journey in Nice archaeological past through two periods that were prehistory and antiquity to the early Christian period. Terra Amata est un site archéologique de plein air situé sur les pentes du mont Boron à Nice à 26 m au-dessus du niveau actuel de la mer. Il a livré des vestiges du Paléolithique inférieur ainsi que l'un des plus anciens foyers d'Europe horaires variables!
