Great location in downtown Lake Placid, near the Olympic Center, and across from Mirror Lake. Nice to have a parking spot so close to everything (notably it is reserved Parallel parking in front of the home). The home is older and has its own quirks (only bathroom is through a bedroom), older stained carpets, and fairly dusty on ledges and in drawers. Fan, baseboard heating, and plumbing are fairly noisy. Appreciate how the owners stock the kitchen with condiments/spices and needed kitchen tools. Overall good stay!

The location is the best quality of this Airbnb. It is close to downtown Lake Placid while being in a quiet location.

While the Loony Bin is on the smaller side, it is typical of older places. It had plenty of charm and location was in the heart of Lake Placid. A reasonable value in our opinion.

Exactly as advertised. We loved being able to walk into town. Small space but plenty big enough for a couple.
