We were excited about our trip, but the stay was disappointing. The portable AC couldn’t cool the space, and the drain port wasn’t connected—forcing us to lift the unit to empty it. We had to leave the first night to buy a fan. Opening windows wasn’t an option due to no screens and a swarm of bugs. The washer/dryer caused humidity to spike, making the room even more uncomfortable. The host’s response to our concerns was unsympathetic. While the location is great—close to major attractions—the entry steps are extremely steep and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Had we seen the previous guest’s review and the host’s dismissive reply before booking, we likely would have canceled. After our stay, we wish we had. Guest comfort should be the priority in hospitality, and that standard was not met here.

The location is great, walkable to many points of interest. Was convenient with full kitchen and washer / dryer in room.
Just be aware, as most of Florence air bnb are are in very old buildings. In this building there is no elevator, so have to carry suitcases up very large staircase, was also dark on bottom of stairs at night- only by upstairs there was light that worked in hallway.
We were there during heat wave - the air conditioning unit is a portable unit and doesn’t cool room well. Also kept shutting off at night.
Was very hot and uncomfortable during the night.
Also would have been helpful to not get surprised with cleaning fee day before - or you can’t get access to room. When you are traveling already, it’s inconvenient to deal with last minute air bnb fees- when you thought it was already taken care off.

El apartamento es cómodo para una pareja está bien ubicado, zona en el centro para caminar y disfrutar.
Contras: cobra un fee extra de limpieza el cual no es claro en el momento de reservar, se supone que ya estaba pago total y antes de llegar me solicitó $34 Euros para gastos extras de limpieza y poder recibir las instrucciones para check in, el ac deja de funcionar después de 8 horas así que se debe drenar el agua manualmente para que siga funcionando adicional hay muchos mosquitos que te van a morder (los mata mosquitos no funcionan para ellos).
