Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

With its rustic design & new fittings - the Chicken House is truly unique Ideal location, only 5 mins from main trunk road access, yet this part of the Blackdown Hills is virtually silent

Otter Rise is the perfect rural retreat for extended families, a romantic escape for couples or for families with children. We are sorry but we are not able to accommodate work groups. There is a cosy log burner in the lounge, underfloor heating in all rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and utility room, a family bathroom and two very comfortable bedrooms one has a double bed and en-suite shower room, the other has two single beds which can easily convert to a king size bed.

A nature lovers paradise: from the spacious and comfortable open plan living area you can spend all day relaxing and watching the many species of duck on the ponds through the picture windows. In the summer the patio area beckons for sundowners at sunset. Whatever the season the natural beauty and serenity provides the perfect scenic getaway.
