Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make you trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Corner Cottage is situated in the heart of Falkland, Fife. A great location for a romantic or family getaway. Get your walking boots on and explore the surrounding nature such as Maspie Den, Lomond Hills and the historical Falkland Estate. Visit local cafes, shops, restaurants, pubs and of course, Falkland Palace, to enjoy the local atmosphere. Hillside Well Cottage is a family run 4 bedroom cottage set in a beautiful, peaceful location in the Perthshire countryside, with spectacular views of the Lomond Hills bordering Fife. It is centrally situated, and a perfect base for visiting many places of interest including Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Pitlochry, Gleneagles, St Andrews, Perth and Dundee. Also, locally, the East Neuk, Falkland and Kinross on the banks of lovely Loch Leven offer many attractions and are well worth a visit.

Shiel House, Rumbling Bridge

Set in 3 acres of gardens and with beautiful views of the valley, Shiel House is the perfect retreat. This bespoke house was built by our family to provide an escape from the city and it has been furnished to provide a comfortable home from home. It would suit solo adventurers, couples, families (including with kids), and groups. Centrally located, and only an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and St Andrews, it is the ideal base for golfers, walkers and visitors to Scotland.

Tiny House in Cosy Village

Dating back to the 1700s, this tiny house had sat empty for over 50 years until George (Heather's son) invested his life savings to completely renovate it to a high standard, while retaining the original character of the building. Sitting below Bishop Hill in the picturesque village of Kinnesswood (2023 joint winner of Britain in Bloom's 'Village' category!), the tiny house is surrounded by breathtaking views, fantastic walks, and an abundance of local farm shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Susan and Graham host Ardarroch and live next door. Nestled in the spectacular surroundings on the outskirts of Crieff, with panoramic views and within easy walking distance of the town centre. Crieff offers many places to eat with an excellent deli and cafes providing good quality local produce. Local attractions include the oldest whiskey distillery, numerous walks and nearby Munros, and a wildlife centre at nearby Comrie. The town has a selection of lovely parks suitable for all ages.

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft has been turned into a light and airy flat above our stables. We live next to a path which takes you north to the Ochils or south to the beautiful Gartmore Water: perfect if you are a walker or a cyclist. The nearby village of Dollar has a castle, cafes, a pub and a restaurant. We are 40 minutes from Edinburgh airport, 25 minutes from Gleneagles Hotel, 20 minutes from Stirling and an hour from the centre of both Edinburgh and Glasgow.
