In winter it’s all snuggling round the log burner with breath-taking views and wonderful walks, and in summer it’s outside living in a flower-rich meadow. Oak Cottage, Llanthony.

The views of the Black Mountains are exceptionally beautiful from this lovely cottage in a very peaceful farm location overlooking the Llanthony Valley, 10 miles from Abergavenny. There is a log fire and underfloor heating in cold weather. Ideal for a relaxing escape. Wonderful walks from the doorstep in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Uncrowded hills and 2 pubs nearby. The historic Llanthony Priory has an atmospheric bar in the cellar with excellent evening food.

Once you have spent the day walking, biking or riding you can light a fire in the woodburner and curl up with a book or ease into the freestanding bath in your bedroom.
