Cathedral Town- Historic House - Country Garden

Ideal location for exploring Brecon and the surrounding National Park. A few minutes walk from open country in one direction, and five minutes from the town centre in the other. The cottage, opposite the Cathedral, adjoins one of Brecon's finest Georgian buildings, Grade II listed Priory Hill House, with which it shares a lovely half-acre garden on the banks of the River Honddu, with spectacular views of Pen y Fan. Tastefully furnished with Welsh antiques, a newly equipped kitchen, TV, & Wifi.

An historic fully refurbished character barn attached to our traditional Welsh Long House home. Having a mezzanine bedroom with a double bed accessing it via a beautiful spiral staircase. Downstairs is an open plan lounge kitchen dinner with a wood burning stove and a beautiful chandelier. The kitchen is well appointed including electric oven/hob, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a wine cooler. Large windows are at the front and back of the property with the most stunning views.

The farmhouse is a dedicated holiday home and is situated within our 200 acre farmland estate and offers its visitors a quiet, restful escape from hectic city life. Whether fishing in the lake or barbecuing on the terrace one can relax and observe the plentiful wildlife and fall into the embrace of this peaceful and tranquil location.

Our beautiful cottage is situated in the Brecon Beacons national park, with a spectacular view of Pen y Fan from the lounge window and from the spacious tiered garden. Spend your evenings viewing the beauty of the International Dark Sky Reserve! If you're looking for a perfect get away with a wood burner in the living room, a fire pit in the large garden (with logs provided) and plenty of hot water for a dip in the roll top bath, this is the perfect place! Our cottage is dog friendly.

Step aboard The Toad, a beautifully restored 1921 GWR brake van (AKA Toad Wagon), once a vital part of post-war goods trains. We think that's a pretty accurate description given its dramatic tall outline and the unusual features found in the interior. It's a peaceful, dog friendly holiday retreat in beautiful Mid Wales close to the Brecon Beacons, Llanwrtyd Wells, Elan Valley and Builth Wells. Please note that the steep stairs make this property unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues.
