There is plenty nearby to explore; from the many footpaths that can be accessed close by to Ceredigion's Heritage Coast and it's only 6 miles from the picturesque, Georgian town of Aberaeron.

The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Traditional Coastal Farmhouse Nr Aberaeron

Ffyllon Fawr is a south facing farmhouse built in the 1890's and has been sympathetically renovated and modernised recently. N.B To allow us to offer a reduced booking cost for a smaller number of guests bedrooms not requested and booked for are secured. The farmhouse is for the exclusive use of your group and not shared with other guests. The farmhouse is in an elevated position and overlooks the farmyard and the open countryside. A patio area to the side leads onto a sloping lawn.

Goitre Bach cottage

This cosy cottage is just a 20 minute walk from a small shingle beach at Gilfach-yr-Halen, which leads onto the Cardigan Bay Coastal Path walk. The Moody Cow restaurant, pub, farm shop and Soft play is situated within walking distance across the peaceful countryside. A perfect visit for those cold cosy nights by the fire or for a Summers evening sat out looking over the lake. There is a village store and petrol station within walking distance for groceries/newspapers/post office.

Old Fishermans Cottage

Stay in an authentic Mariners cottage a few minutes walk to the sea on the beautiful Cardigan bay coastal path. The Stowaway is located on the cliff in the beautiful fishing village of New Quay, right on the coastal path. Along with the spectacular sea views guests can enjoy relaxing on their private balcony whilst watching the dolphins play. Why not fire up the bbq provided for al fresco dining! With only a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and beaches guests can enjoy a variety of activities including wildlife boat tours, watersports and lovely reastaurants and pubs.

Studio accommodation part of a detached garage in private location with views over village and locality. Accommodation benefits from a compact fully equipped kitchen with an en-suite bedroom. Enjoy wifi access, television, and free tea and coffee. This is a loft space so head height restricted in certain places. Very tall prospective guests please take this into consideration before booking. Car parking, and access to pool table, and table tennis table.

Cosy cabin & small garden, 1.5 miles to the beach

Situated on a quiet road in between the sea side town of New Quay and Llanarth, our cabin is close enough to be by the sea in 5 minutes but without the crowds. The Cabin is situated at the end of our drive, with it's own parking area and a small private garden offering a sea view and is the perfect place to watch a beautiful sunset in peace and quiet. Inside, the cabin offers a living space perfect for a couples retreat to get away and unwind.
