Lovely old small stone cottage recently renovated to a high standard, located in a quiet hamlet within easy reach of the Wye Valley, Hereford and the Marches, Black Mountains and the Forest of Dean. The cottage is surrounded by woodland and nature with walks in every direction from your doorway. The village is accessed from a single track lane and is very rural and peaceful, yet only 4 miles from Monmouth. There are two working farms in the village and farm traffic can just occasionally be busy.

The old coach House is a few minutes walk from the centre of Tintern on the banks of the river Wye, where you'll find the famous abbey, as well as places to eat and drink, and shops selling local crafts. The Wye Valley Walk passes the house, and the hourly bus between Chepstow and Monmouth stops just metres away. The gardens retain many original features including formal terraces, octagonal pool, glasshouse, pergola and 100 ft long double herbaceous borders. There are spectacular views to the Brecon Beacons

Light, airy and welcoming with zip and link beds. We can accommodate 2-4 flexible to your needs. We are in a great spot for the Forest of Dean, the Brecon Beacons, Bike Park Wales, Cannop Cycle Centre and the Offa’s Dyke Path. There are lovely walks right from the door and so much to do nearby!

Rustic and characterful, yet contemporary and spacious, 'Little Llanvolda' provides the perfect getaway for couples or a family. Inside, you can enjoy the view of the garden from your kingsize bed, have a long soak in the roll-top bath or cosy up in front of the wood burner in the open-plan living space. Outside, you can soak up the sun on your private terrace listening to the birdsong or stroll by the stream a few minutes' walk away over our surrounding fields.
