The Copper Hide - Beautiful and Unique Escape

The Copper Hide is a unique escape at Arth Valley Retreat on the west coast of Wales. This old dairy milking parlour was converted into accommodation some years ago but has recently (2024) benefited from a complete makeover. With a roll top bath, mezzanine bed with large star gazing window and Woodburning stove. During your stay you’ll be free to roam our piece of the valley that flows down to a river with waterfalls. Only a few minutes from the sea. Come and enjoy this romantic spot in nature.

Cwt yr Hafod is a cosy shepherds hut positioned in field fenced off from farm animals, with far reaching views, private and peaceful with abundance of wildlife, buzzards, kites and at night, owl and bats. On a clear nights gaze at the stars from the hot tub. Underfloor heating, WC and shower. Outside lighting with seats ,and firepit. A place to explore Ceredigion Coastline (3 Miles). 10 min walk to Cross Inn village pub specializing in real ales beer garden, PO and well stocked shop.

Y Bwthyn Holiday Cottage - Dog friendly

Y Bwthyn is one of our 2 cottages, along with Y Beudy, it is a two level converted stone building . It has a lounge, log burner & dining area and a narrow spiral staircase leading up to a double bedroom with a private bathroom, shower, bath, toilet and basin. The kitchen leads off to the king size bedroom with ensuite. There is a south facing private enclosed garden with grass and patio area with beautiful views. There is 5 acres of our land for you to explore and enjoy.

We've made Beudy Penlan a special kind of place that we'd like to stay in. A beautiful stone cottage with a touch of quirky charm. 0pen plan and spacious, it's a truly restful retreat, yet within easy reach of the sublime Ceredigion coast, and pet friendly too ( please see pet fee). Countryside cabin - 'Hud y Machlud'. You'll be staying in one of our three luxury cabins in the heart of the countryside with hot tubs. We are close to many of the areas best attractions including the Ceredigion coastal path, numerous stunning beaches, Fantasy Farm, the award winnings harbour towns of Aberaeron and New Quay and the University towns of Lampeter and the beautiful Aberystywth. We are very central within the county of Ceredigion.

Come and stay in our unique and romantic country cabin and enjoy the stunning views. Located in West Wales (10 minutes from seaside town, Aberystwyth), It’s a short walk from a traditional welsh country village, which has the amazing award winning gastro pub - Y Ffarmers. Just to notify, there is a 150 meter walk from the car to the cabin including steps, but we are happy to help with luggage if needed.

As well as many guests visiting the likes of the Elan Valley, devils bridge and may other walking spots.
