Embrace the bucolic lifestyle of this quaint cabin that’s adjacent to a pasture and pond. When weather permits, we have a fire pit you may use to make S’mores right in front of your cabin. We welcome you here to enjoy rest during your travels or maybe need a quiet place that’s near the Hospital. We are 2 miles from historic downtown & close to parks & lakes. The home is in the northern tip of Hill Country and has beautiful scenery with views of the Palo Pinto Mountains and a perfect view of the stars. Hotel quality beds that will allow for a great nights sleep.

The Lazy Possum Cottage @PK

The Lazy Possum Cottage is a modern fishing cabin on the north side of Possum Kingdom Lake. This newly remodeled waterfront property offers a gentle slope to the water perfect for swimming and wading. It is usually deep enough to moor a boat or jet skis right at the shore although if the water level fluctuates you might have to tie it up a little further out or use our boat slip at the Marina less than a quarter mile away.

Six total beds. Two bedrooms, one with queen bed, other bedroom has full bed and twin bed. Available in game room is a twin size chair bed, Murphy queen bed and twin day bed. Use of full kitchen, living room, dining, kitchenette/game room, bathroom and laundry room. Wrap around porch on house and back porch screened-in. Hostess living area on one end of house. No unregistered guest. Extra fee will be charged.
